Dr. Adamson is a 1998 graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry and Medicine from the University of Alberta in Edmonton. For two years he enjoyed practicing in Whitehorse in the Yukon with the wilds of the Canadian North at his doorstep. Later in 2000 he returned to school at the University of Saskatchewan to complete a one year General Practice Residency Program at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. There he furthered his knowledge and skill in the areas of oral medicine, sedation, pediatric dentistry (children's dentistry), oral surgery, and dental implantology. Upon meeting his wife to be, Janet, he moved to Calgary and has enjoyed a wonderful and fulfilling life and career there.
Dr. Adamson is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Alberta Dental Association & College, the Calgary and District Dental Society (where he serves as Newsletter & Website Director), and the Alberta Implant Seminars Study Group. With his keen devotion to continuing education, Dr. Adamson's focus is on the topics of dental occlusion, dental implants, and periodontics.
Dr. Adamson enjoys many outdoor activities, winter and summer. He is an avid runner, curler, and cross-country skier. He is a terrible golfer, but likes the walk. Having grown up on a farm, he's had to learn to substitute his love of tractors and combines for a push-lawnmower and a hand spade, but his yard it the better for it. He also has discovered how to combine his passion for dentistry with his passion for travel with the organization Kindness in Action.
Dr. Adamson and his wife Janet are the proud parents of two boys - Sam and Charlie.
